Prof. Sanjay K. Nayak is a distinguished scientist and renowned academician in the field of Polymer Technology.

He is the Vice Chancellor of Ravenshaw University, Odisha and Former Director General of Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India. Prof. Nayak has more than 34 years of experience in Teaching, Research and Technical Consultancy. He has been the author of 500 International Publications, Editor/Authors of 30 Books / Book Chapters with leading International Publishers & several Patents Designs.

Prof. Nayak is a Ph. D (Science & Engineering) and DSc degree holder. He is also the recipient of several prestigious Awards like; ‘Distinguished Scientist Award’ in appreciation to his contribution to Polymer Science & Technology by Asian Polymer Association (APA), ‘Commendable Faculty Award’ for Research in Material Science & High Citation Index (as per Scopus), National Awards for Technology Innovations in Petrochemicals and Downstream Plastics Processing Industry, Lifetime Achievement Award by FICCI Chemicals & Petrochemicals in 2018.

Prof. (Dr.) D. D. Kale is a Chemical Engineer and has obtained his Ph. D. from University of Salford, UK. With a teaching experience of over 40 years, Prof. (Dr.) D. D. Kale retired from University of Mumbai’s Department of Chemical Technology, UDCT, Mumbai in 2005 as a Professor of Polymer Technology and as a Head of the Department of Polymer Engineering.

At present, he is a technical advisor to Giriraj Group, Mumbai and in the past has also been a consultant to several plastics industries. He is a member of high power expert committee to Government of Maharashtra on various environmental issues and is on the expert panel for centers of excellence by DCPC. (Dr.) D. D. Kale is also a member of committee to define single use plastics set up by Ministry of Chemicals and fertilizers, New Delhi.

His research interests include polymer processing, rheology, product design and recycling. He has guided 28 Ph. D. and 65 Masters Students. He has published more than 100 papers in peer reviewed journals and has one patent to his credit. He is associated with many professional bodies such as PLASTINDIA, All India Plastics Manufacturers Association, (AIPMA), IPI and SPE etc

Mr. Rajeev Kumar Dwivedi

Mr. R.K. Dwivedi holds BE & M. Tech degree from NIT Bhopal with 32 Years’ of experience in Academics, New project development from concept to commissioning, business development, technical consulting in the field of plastics engineering and technology. He has been awarded UNIDO Fellowship in 1997 for advance training in the field of plastics processing in Canada.

Mr. Dwivedi has worked for different technical committees of BIS for standard development for plastics products, qualified lead auditor for ISO QMS.  He has contributed as an important resource person for various Technical assignments, consultancy projects related to Plastics Sector in India, Sri Lanka, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia etc. between 1999-2006. During 2007-2010, he coordinated National studies on behalf of Government of India on topics such as environmental impact on bio- degradable plastics, human resource requirement in plastics/petrochemical industries, promotion of recycling technology for plastic waste, assessment and quantification of plastic waste in 60 Indian cities, etc.

Recently, Mr. R.K. Dwivedi was nominated by BIS as Project Leader for developing new Standard for Plastics Recycling. He has actively participated in ISO technical committee on Environmental issues for Standardization activities, specifically on Plastics & Environment issues.

After a post-doctoral assignment at Paris, senior scientist assignment in Switzerland, he was associated with different laboratories in Europe.

He has been member of several professional societies along with the President of Asian Polymer Association, Society of Biomaterials & Artificial organs, India-North and has been collaborating with several laboratories in India and Abroad.

Prof. Ramani Narayan

Dr. Ramani Narayan, is University Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science. 

He has 200+ refereed publications in leading journals, 32 issued patents and edited three books in the area of environmentally responsible biobased materials [h-index 51; i10-index 143, 12,248 citations Google Scholar]. 

He has graduated 22 Ph.D and 23 Master’s students at MSU.

Dr. Peethambaram Parthasarathy

College of Technology, University of Madras -1977 and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from IIT in Chennai – 1981 and Ph.D in Earth Science and Resource Management, Department of Applied Geology, Kuvempu University, Karnataka -2010. The Ph.D thesis “Ecologically Efficient Resource Recovery of Electronic Waste for Indian Conditions” was published by ‘Lambert Academic Publishing’, Germany. He has about 34 years experience in the field of precious metals coating, recovery and refining with about 15 years in recycling of Electronic Waste with a few papers and several national and international presentations in these fields.
Presently, Founder and Managing Director of E-Parisaraa Pvt. Ltd., located at Dobaspet which is 50km from Bangalore. Started during 2004 for Electronic Waste Management for first time in India with low cost, cleaner technologies and to implement 3R best practices. E-Parisaraa is engaged mainly in resource recovery of metals, plastics and glass in an environmental friendly way from E-waste. E-Parisaraa is certified ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, R2:2013 & CII Greenco Gold Certified Company.
